Paws Off Duty is all about supporting the K9s who have dedicated their lives to looking after the North Wales public. Police dogs retire between the age of 8 and 10 and are re-homed by handlers or generous members of the public with no provisions to assist with costs once they have retired.

However, the costs can be high and sometimes hard to manage when re-homing an older dog, (no matter how much we love them), so we are there to help provide funding towards each retired dog’s needs from vaccinations to veterinary treatment.
